About
Our Dogs
Sadly, on February 24th, we lost our sweet Cheyenne (pictured right), an Australian Shepherd mix we fostered and then adopted in 2000. She was a Georgia rescue and had issues with shyness (thus her name). She was about 15 when she crossed the rainbow bridge and had been in perfect health until dignosed with a brain tumor affecting her balance and motor skills. She was the joy of our household. I will miss her squirrel chasing, her "perky ears", her silliness enthusiasm, and her zest for life. She always made us smile. Our other wonderful dog Jesse, a golden retriever mix (14+ years young) is doing great despite some normal issues associated with aging. She seems to be coping with the loss better than we are. Our thanks to our Facebook friends, other friends, and relatives who've shown their support during this difficult time. Also, our special thanks to Dr. Todd and the staff of Animal Hospital of Dunedin for 12 great years with Cheyenne and hopefully many more with Jesse.
My History:
I have been having fun with photography since I was young with my hand me down Kodak Brownie camera.
Since I love being around dogs, photographing them began as a hobby; taking action photographs of friends’ dogs performing in canine athletic competitions while we vended at these events. My love of dogs and canine action photography grew into a passion and expanded into "Performance Dog Photography". Visit our booth at Central Florida Dog Athletic Trials and community events. Our show schedule is posted on our Performance Dog Products website. I also enjoy experimenting with HDR photography and landscapes. You can find a separate gallery of my HDR photographs featuring tropical landscapes and local attractions.
